A week ago I went to the park to make better use of the iPhone 5’s panoramic mode. I got a few nice shots from the overlook. I’m still trying to get used to moving the phone correctly to take them, but I think these came out okay.

More colour is filling in the green lately, so of course I had to take some shots after I got off work. Things are really the prettiest during the sunset, so I waited ’til then.
Just those for now. Off to work on Christmas ornaments and such for the shop.

I’ve been noticing birds fly up on the deck quite a bit, so I bought a bird feeder for them. It’s just a small one, but I think I might have to upgrade to a bigger one after seeing how many have started flocking to it. There were at least 11 at once at different times during the day. A dove even showed up to nibble at the seeds that had fallen on the deck. It didn’t stay for long, though, because a certain Fatty-meow decided to charge at it through the glass, haha.
Speaking of, Phantom seems to love that more birds are showing up on the deck. He gets a lot of bird watching in during the day now. I forgot to get a picture of him watching his birds, but here’s one of him with his favorite toy, a fake rose. He became attached to it as a kitten and likes to carry this around the house.
Today is the first day of my week off from work. I’m not really going anywhere, just taking some much needed time away from work and getting settled in at the new apartment.
It’s really gorgeous outside today, so I think I’ll go take a nice long walk at some point later in the day. Feels almost like the beginning of fall. It’s a nice change from the 100+ heat we’ve had all summer.

I got treated to pizza at lunch (by work) and then again tonight at dinner. Diet blown for the day, haha.

Phantom’s expression here best sums up my day. At 2AM, the tornado sirens went off. Luckily, we were fine, but my sleep was ruined and I woke up to get ready for work about 3 hours later with a throbbing headache that lasted nearly all day. It wore off later, but of course not while I was at work. Here’s hoping tomorrow is headache free and siren free!
This may or may not still be here by morning.
